Things Just Keep Getting Better

Remember the rays of sunshine? The arrantly stupid physicians? It just gets better.

The practice will not close. However, all the nurses were fired tonight. Some demmed foolishness about 'restructuring' the practice. So the head nurse who'd worked there for 20 years, and the young nurse who's four months pregnant, and everyone in between, including the Viking, are out in the cold.

Here we go again with the job-go-round. And just to top things off, the Toyota wouldn't start this morning. Possibly the ignition, maybe the starter.

The Viking remarked, in grim jest, that all we need now is for me to get pregnant and he'd be guaranteed to win Crown. I told him that I didn't need a fancy brass hat that badly.
