Pseudo-Incunabula

I've been messing with the template, obviously. The menu items on the left are drawn from codicology; if you're curious about the definitions of the terms, there's a codicological glossary online.

I'm still working on the background colour. FFFF99 (still on the older entries page) is too dark; FFFFCC (current) seems too pink. FFCCFF was too purple. There probably isn't an html hex code for the lovely creamy colour of fifteenth-century paper, but if anyone has any suggestions, I'm listening.

The red links are an attempt to mimic the red ink used by mediaeval rubricators. Again, the colour's not quite right, but it's pretty good.

Yesterday, the bleeding hearts (Dicentra spectabilis) appeared. Monday afternoon, there was no sign of them. Tuesday afternoon, there they were. The Brunnera macrophylla is starting to put up new leaves, too.
