Gah, it's been a while, hasn't it?

Not that there's much to report. Mostly it's the same old tune of the Bad Luck Kid.

The Viking is still unemployed. I crashed the Toyota; it's totalled. How we are going to manage to replace the 'yota with the tiny little settlement and only one paycheque I can't figure.

There is good news in the world. Sis is pregnant again, for one thing. No one was hurt in the aforementioned car wreck. Everyone is basically healthy. The dog has not run away. Things could, in fact, be worse.

Still, I'm having trouble not being just a little negative. OK, maybe a lot negative. I'm trying to keep it together -- the Viking is down enough about the job thing all on his own (and it's not for lack of trying. He's just not getting the calls). Whining and crying isn't going to fix anything anyway.

Still, it would be really nice if something good would happen for a change. It's easier to keep the fires going if you get a little fuel once in a while.
