I finished the gambeson. I do not think the Viking even now fully comprehends how much of a pain that was, or indeed how much I love him that I would make such an object for him. He is, however, pleased and appreciative and grateful, and that's good enough for me.

That, and I am just so %&$#ing happy to have the thing done.

Next, I have to make a tabard in the Viking's liveries for his herald to wear in the procession. After that, I might just be able to make something to wear myself, too.

But I finished the gambeson.
