'Firefly' is up and blooming. Or maybe are up and blooming, since there's more than one. Though then it would have to be 'Fireflies' for subject-verb agreement to happen, and the name of the variety is 'Firefly' not 'Fireflies.'

Bah. Vex me not with grammatical trifles. The point is there are flowers blooming in my yard.
