Work. Sleep. Repeat.

The Viking and I decided to skip University in favour of rest because, my dears, we were tired. So, no stories there. We slept, and did laundry, and bought some groceries. The Viking napped. I made zucchini bread. Not the least bit exciting, but we needed a day without excitement.

Sunday we bestirred ourselves and took part in the Moustache's barn-raising project. It was a bit like a cross between Ground Force and Monster House, without the tv cameras. The Viking, of course, was of more practical use as a carpenter. Mostly I tried to stay out of the way of the people with the tools, do such small useful things as I could, and divert and entertain the Duchess. The barn was not quite complete when we left, but it was dark, and we were concerned that our poor dog would explode if we didn't get home.

The dog did not explode, but he was very grateful to be let out.

Dragging myself out of bed this morning was work. And actual work involves setting a disaster to rights even as the programme people refuse to believe it's a disaster. Uff.
