Portents of Woe

The pine shoot beetles have come back to haunt me. That, and I seem to be developing a reputation as the person to go to when short deadlines loom. I am not sure how I feel about this, but I suspect it's going to bring nothing but woe in the future.

Today in Scottish history: In 1296, Edward I of England stole the Stone of Destiny from its home at Scone in Perthshire. The Stone, the traditional coronation seat of the Scottish kings, remained in England until 1998, when it was transferred to Edinburgh Castle.
