Last night, despite bad weather, a huge turnout for Angry Parent Night. Two and half hours making baloney sandwiches: big fluffy positive remark, thin slice of meaty criticism, big fluffy positive remark, repeat.
'Is there anything we can do to help [insert child's name] improve?'
Of course, it is always the parents of the kids with the 97 averages who show up. That's probably why they have kids with 97 averages -- they're involved with their children's lives.
Today, exhausted. It's half past my headache. Roll tape.
Overheard in class: hey, why you be misanthropin' on me?
